Porcelain Veneers

Veneers cover the surface of stained, damaged, irregularly shaped, or misaligned teeth in order to improve their appearance. The result, a bright and beautiful smile you’ll be proud of.

Is this for me?

Veneers are suitable for those with chipped, darkly stained, gapped, or small teeth.

Procedure:

Approximately 1/2 millimeter of tooth enamel is removed from the surface of the patient's natural teeth. Impressions of the teeth are then taken to create molds, which will be used to construct the veneers.

To prepare the teeth for veneer application, the patient's teeth will be cleaned, polished, and etched-this roughens the surface of the tooth to allow for stronger bonding of the veneer. A special cement will be applied to the veneer which will then be applied to the tooth. Once the veneer has been placed properly, a special light beam will be applied to the tooth which activates chemicals in the cement that cause it to harden quickly. Lastly, any excess cement around the tooth will be removed.
