Fillers
This painless and non-surgical treatment softens wrinkles and creates fuller, more youthful contours around the eyes, cheeks, and lips. During treatment, soft tissue fillers (also called “dermal” fillers) are injected beneath the skin to smooth and reshape the face. Results last for six months or more, at which point the procedure can be repeated.

The treatment can be used to improve the appearance of wrinkles or sunken and shadowed areas of the face, and to minimize the visibility of facial scars, pitting, or other uneven skin textures. Procedure:
Your surgeon will apply a topical anesthetic to the area to be treated and then make a series of quick injections with the desired filler (purified human fat, collagen, or hyaluronic acid). If the area you wish to treat requires deeper injections, your surgeon may recommend a local anesthetic. The entire process takes less than half an hour at the most, with no downtime needed. At most, you may experience a little temporary swelling or redness, which can be treated with a cold compress.

Fillers and Botox are often recommended as complementary treatments. Botox relaxes the muscles that create certain wrinkles around the eyes and forehead, while fillers smooth hollows and creases in other parts of the face.
