ARM LIFT (Brachioplasty)

Arm Lift Surgery

Trim and tighten the skin on your upper arms with an arm lift. Brachioplasty is a surgical procedure that helps to remove loose and sagging skin in the upper arm area, usually from the underarm region to the elbow. The procedure will provide better contour for a more toned appearance in the upper arm.

Is this for me?

Exercise may strengthen and improve the muscle tone of the upper arm, but exercise alone will not help loose skin that has lost its elasticity and taut appearance. Individuals who have sagging skin due to age, or those who have undergone a significant weight loss and have an excess amount of fatty tissue in the area, should get an arm lift to remove the extra skin that hangs below the arm.

The surgery and how much skin is removed will depend on the skin's elasticity. There are a number of benefits to arm lift surgery, which include reducing excess skin and fat between the underarm and the elbow, reshaping the arm for smoother skin and improving contour and a more proportionate appearance.
The incision length and pattern will depend on the amount and location of skin removed. Your MyLooks® surgeon will help decide what is best. In some cases, light liposuction may be necessary to get rid of the additional fat deposits under the skin. It is best to combine procedures in some cases to achieve maximum results.
