Breast Lift (Mastoplexy)
A breast lift, also referred to as mastoplexy, is the procedure for correcting contour and elevation of sagging breasts. It firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour.

If your breasts are starting to sag and are lose shape or if your nipples fall below the breast crease, a breast lift procedure should be considered. This is an extremely popular procedure amongst women post-childbirth, who experience extra skin and drooping of the breasts. A breast lift will not add volume to your breasts. If you are looking to enlarge your breasts or reduce the size, you may want to consider a breast augmentation procedure or breast reduction procedure.
Procedure:
Generally, there are three types of breast lift procedures – concentric breast lift, vertical breast lift and anchor breast lift. Each one involves cutting away the skin on the breast, followed by a repositioning of the nipple through sutures.
The most popular breast lift is the anchor breast lift because it provides the maximum lift. The incision is shaped like a keyhole around the nipples, runs down to the crease and across to the sides. One thing to keep in mind is that because of the incision needed for this procedure, it leaves the most obvious scarring.
The next most popular is the vertical breast lift. In this procedure, a vertical incision is made down from the nipple to the breast crease. These are popular among women with less sag and who don't want large scars. The concentric breast lift is the least popular out of the three. This procedure requires circular incisions to be made around the nipple.

The cost for a breast lift procedure starts at approximately $6000. This is lower than the price you'd pay at a local US clinic, where a breast lift cost is around $8500. Note when doing your research, often local clinics quote a lower price but are not including the hospital cost that will be on top of the surgery cost.
